Greetings,

We currently provide presentations to students enrolled in the Intensive American Language Center on our campus. The audience in our presentations ranges from students with low English language proficiency to those with advanced English proficiency and everything in between. We’ve faced challenges in modifying our content – which focuses on definitions, campus resources, and bystander intervention – in a way that successfully reaches all members of the audience. Some feedback we’ve received is to use simpler language for the students lower in English language skills. Do any of you provide similar presentations, and if so, would you be willing to share any insight or content?

Thank you in advance,
