Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW) has done great research about the economic impact of sexual and domestic violence on adolescents and young adults. They have an “Economic Security for Survivors” Project.  WOW released a study  recently that had great data including- number of classes missed, classes dropped, leaving school etc.  http://www.wowonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ESS-Population-Policy-Series-Adolescent-Survivors.pdf

Subject: Data on academic impact for survivors?

Hey folks -

Sorry for the cross-postings.  I'm wondering if anyone knows of any data/studies out there that show the academic impact of sexual violence on survivors.  We are specifically looking at factors such as missed classes, dropping down to part-time, transferring, dropping out, etc.

Thanks so much!
