Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 12:28 PM To: "" <> Subject: research on lawsuits Hello, Our university General Counsel has been slow to come around to why we’ve needed to change some of our conduct procedures to be in line with Title IX. I’ve got two questions to that effect: 1.
Does anyone know of recent research looking at lawsuits against universities for sexual misconduct cases, specifically comparing the number and success of complainant lawsuits against respondent lawsuits? 2.
Does anyone have suggestions for a training that we could send our General Counsel to, to help them get a better handle on why we need these changes and what the current landscape looks like?
