Dear colleagues,
I have recently developed a workshop on 'lad culture' and sexual violence in UK universities – it's specific to our context, but I thought some colleagues on this list might be interested in seeing it from a comparative perspective. We are way behind the
US in terms of initiatives to tackle this problem, so if US colleagues have any advice or thoughts on where we should go from here, I'd be delighted to hear them. I'm hoping to use the workshop to start conversations and start building some kind of critical
mass around this issue.
The workshop materials (Prezi, handouts etc) can be accessed at https://genderate.wordpress.com/ladculture/ for anyone who is interested in having a look at what's going on in the UK.
Best wishes,
Alison
