Hello,

We will be highlighting the Escalation video and workshop as a featured session at this year's ATIXA/SCOPE Joint National Conference (https://atixa.org/events/2015-joint-conference/). I agree with the assessment that it feels current, relevant, has high production value and the curriculum offers ample opportunities for discussion around intimate partner violence.

Best,
Michelle

We are working with One Love and I recommend it. We are beginning to do their 'Escalation' workshop on campus. It consists of a 40 minute movie they have created followed by discussion (they provide the discussion guide). The movie is by far the most modern I have ever seen on this topic - includes social media and texting for one and is in a story format vs the typical teaching video. Olive and Jordyn are great to work with if those are the people that have reached out to you.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. We’ve been approached by two organizations who are interested in doing programming about relationship violence (One Love) and a sexual assault prevention training for our male athletes. The organization that would do training for the male athletes is called Smart Male Athlete Reality Training (SMART) Program: Sexual Assault Prevention and is facilitated by Jon Shelton. I’m not familiar with either of these programs and would appreciate any feedback and insights that you may have.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,

Alysha
