Hello Fantastic Colleagues,

RespectCon 2015: “Understanding Sexual Violence Through a Social Justice Lens” is a little more than a month away (April 10th, 2015). We had more submissions this year than ever before, which is so exciting! We will have this year’s conference schedule posted soon, but don’t wait for that to register – last year we reached capacity weeks before the conference and are expecting to do so again this year. Keep in mind that on April 9th, 2015 there will be a day long Pre-Conference for professionals focusing on the particular challenges of working within this field on college campuses. Please email if you have any questions about RespectCon or the Pre-Conference. Registration link is below.

Thank you for the exceptional work all of you do across the country. We hope to see many of you on April 10th!

Best Regards,

Team RespectCon 2015 |

RespectCon 2015 is a low-cost one-day conference focusing particularly on understanding sexual violence through a social justice lens. The purpose is understanding the connections between sexual violence and other forms of oppression, thereby connecting this work to broader structural inequities and integrating our work into social justice movements. Our aim is to create a unique environment for participants to share information and exchange ideas on preventing sexual violence and creating more survivor-supportive and socially just institutions of higher education.
