Join a vibrant campus community whose excellence is reflected in its diversity and student success. West Chester University of Pennsylvania’s Division of Student Affairs invites applicants for the Coordinator for Healthy Masculinity Programming and Violence Prevention. Working under the direction of the Women’s Center Director and supervision of the Assistant Dean for Student the coordinator serves as a catalyst and resource for advancing violence prevention efforts on campus that will include a focus on gender equity and social justice. The coordinator will provide programmatic guidance and assessment for the development of strategic plans, goals and measurable objectives for comprehensive sexual misconduct, advocacy, violence prevention and healthy masculinity programs and services for the university. The coordinator trains, directs, and supervises others performing tasks associated with the delivery of programs and services, including staff, students, and peer educators. The coordinator will include a focus on programs that support healthy masculinities to encourage men to think critically about the impact gender role socialization has on their personal and academic relationships The coordinator will support student success by promoting campus leadership and involvement, effective bystander behaviors, and the emotional and physical well- being of the University.
