At Ohio State, we implement an athlete-specific version of our “Buckeyes Got Your Back” workshop. The Athlete Peer Educators have helped customize the program, and they are all trained to deliver it. We’re still working on the data from this year’s implementation, but if you want a little more information about our program, feel free to check out the poster I presented in May at ACHA (fraternity implementation): https://osu.box.com/bgybposter.

I would be happy to answer any questions about our program.

Best,

Michelle

I would also give a shout-out to my Big Ten colleague, Ruth Anne Koenick, and her work to develop SCREAM Athletes at Rutgers, which is a peer education program specifically for and by athletes.

We have used MVP here for 4 years for both athletes and nonathletes. Great
curriculum and students love it. Jarrod Chin is the contact for their TTT
program and there's one coming up. I'll forward that email to you,
Juliette.

Juliette,
MVP was designed for athletes, both as facilitators and participants.

Can you tell I'm doing some work with athletes? ;-) In any case, can
anyone recommend an effective campus program which includes athletes
as peer educators for IPV prevention/response?  Either an
athlete-specific peer program or one that intentionally includes
      athletes as peers...

      Thank you!
