a vibrant campus community and active student center. The
University of Vermont is seeking an Education and Outreach Coordinator
at the Women's Center. Responsibilities
include: the development and systematization of education and outreach
initiatives for the campus community, including students, staff and
faculty, regarding issues of sexual violence, relationship violence and
stalking; chairing and orchestrating planning efforts of the annual
Dismantling Rape Culture Conference; working
to increase knowledge of on and off campus advocacy services; and collaborative coordination
and facilitation of educational initiatives and projects focused on
sexual misconduct with campus and community partners. This position will also
supervise student staff, volunteers and interns. To

degree in Women and Gender Studies, Education, Psychology, Public
Health, Social Work or a related field and have two years of related
experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in the areas
of gender-based and sexual violence education and prevention,
women/gender, social justice and a collaborative multicultural
environment. Knowledge of multiple forms of oppressions and how they
intersect with sexual violence, relationship violence and stalking.
Evidence of strong organizational and oral/written communication
skills. Experience working with college students and/or young adults as
well as the public preferred. Demonstrated success working with a range
of culturally and ethnically diverse populations and evidence of
commitment of fostering a collaborative multicultural environment. The University is especially interested in
