Dear Colleagues,

This fall the MMKC's of IV East and West are hosting the MMKC Midwest Drive-In Conference on Masculinities in the Intersections. It will be Friday October 10th 2014 at St. Louis University. We are focusing our conversations and presentations on how our gender intersects with other identities. To best understand the lives of our students, we must not only look to their gender but the many aspects of their lives and how these identities influence their curricular and co-curricular collegiate experiences.

Dr. Dan Tillapaugh will kick off our day with a keynote address followed by educational opportunities for professional staff, faculty, and graduate students. This year, we are also excited to offer an undergraduate experience. Miguel Macias and the student leaders of the Men’s Project at Loyola University Chicago will offer a concurrent session for students to learn how to create healthy men’s programming on their campus through this peer-to-peer workshop.

If you are interested in presenting, please submit a program proposal by following this link: http://apps.naspa.org/cfp/evt_frm_user.cfm?event_id=186
