I recommend a member organization/center of the IL Coalition Against Sexual Assault! Their therapist specialize in sexual assault and abuse. The centers are state-funded so their fees are very reasonable AND on a sliding fee basis! Your student or you can use the interactive map to find the sexual assault center nearest to her/him.

hi all -
forgive me if this is an inappropriate posting for this listserv, as it's about intervention rather than prevention...
i have a former client/Duke grad who is looking for affordable therapy in Chicago related to processing a history of sexual assaults. she has reached out to ask me who to contact and i don't know how to refer.
if you have any knowledge of someone who could provide counseling for a sliding scale fee (she is not interested in medication/psychiatric services), i would love to have some names to give her.
thank you so much for any info you have on this!
-Amy
