Dear Colleagues,

Emory University’s Respect Program is proud to host a gathering for professionals who work on or with colleges and universities on sexual assault and relationship violence prevention and response programs.  We are excited to be co-organizing this summit with Holly Rider-Milkovich, Director of SAPAC (Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center) at University of Michigan.  As we are all members of different professional associations, this meeting is an excellent opportunity to gather as professionals in our specific roles at a critical time in our movement.  The summit will take place on Thursday, March 27th  on the Emory University campus in Atlanta, GA.  This gathering precedes RespectCon, a conference on sexual violence prevention on college campuses through a social justice lens.

The summit will feature opportunities for large group and small group dialogue about topics designated from attendee responses which will include:

·         engaging students

·         networking opportunities

·         sharing of prevention strategies

·         creating a professional space for us

·         implementation of Campus SaVE/VAWA/Title IX mandates and recommendations

·         navigating relationships with administration

The cost of the summit is $20, which includes lunch.

For more information on the summit and RespectCon go to: http://studenthealth.emory.edu/hp/respect_program/respectcon_2014/index.html and navigate on the left side of your screen. We ask that you register for the summit on or before Friday, February 8th.

If you have any questions, please contact

In solidarity,

LB
