Greetings!

Central Michigan University's Sexual Aggression Services is pleased to announce a conference for professionals who work with university and college populations. 

This conference, Building & Maintaining a Comprehensive Survivor-Centered Campus,  is an opportunity for higher education professionals who engage with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking to learn more about developing a survivor-centered campus. This meeting is an excellent occasion to gather and meet as professionals to learn and discuss the roles of various departments and the importance of department collaboration. 

The conference will take place on Tuesday, May 20th from 8:30am to 9:00pm and Wednesday, May 21st from 8:30am to 11:30am in Mount Pleasant, MI. On the evening of Tuesday, May 20th there will be networking opportunities as well as the showcase of one of Central Michigan University’s Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates educational programs. 

The conference will feature large group and small group dialogue about various topics, including the following:

                                             Campus inter-department collaborations and communications

                                             Development of student peer advocacy program

                                             Impact of Title IX/Dear Colleague Letter

As well as:

                                            Case study examples

                                           Networking opportunities

                                           Panel discussion

 

The cost of the conference is $95*, which includes breakfast and lunch on May 20th as well as breakfast on May 21st.  Registration and further information can be located on our conference website:  www.bmcscc.com
