Dear Colleagues, This is a reminder that proposals for presentations, workshops, and panels are up here. The deadline is 1/31/14.
http://studenthealth.emory.edu/hp/respect_program/respectcon_2014/index.html This year’s conference theme is “Sexual Violence Prevention through a Social Justice Lens.” Presentations that focus on this theme will be given particular consideration. All proposals should be consistent with
the Respect Program’s values of student empowerment, social justice, advocacy, collaboration, and excellence . Additionally, creative and innovative presentations are encouraged. RespectCon seeks a diverse group of presenters who can stimulate the audience
and create an effective dialogue on sexual violence prevention on college campuses. RespectCon will take place on Fri. 3/28/14 on the Emory University campus in Atlanta, Georgia. We are also proud to be hosting a pre-conference summit for professionals on college campuses who are working to directing, coordinating, or working in sexual assault prevention and response programs on Th 3/27/14.
More information is also available on our website. The summit is co-coordinated by Holly Rider-Milkovich, Director of SAPAC at University of Michigan. The summit’s cost is only $20. If you also present at RespectCon on Friday that’s only $35 for both days! Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions at
or 404.727.1514, and I hope to see you in Atlanta for RespectCon! My best, LB Lauren (LB) Bernstein, MSW, LMSW |
