The Victim Rights Law Center invites you to participate in Understanding Sexual Assault and Victimization: Building the Foundation for Civil Legal Advocacy, a free, online course that consists of an interactive, web-based training module; a series of short, self-directed assignments; and a live, instructor-led webinar on December 18th, from 10–11:30AM Pacific (1–2:30PM Eastern). The course will establish the basic differences between non-intimate partner sexual assault and domestic violence, address the dynamics of victimization and perpetration, and introduce how the civil legal system can be used to meet the most urgent needs of sexual assault survivors.

To begin the course, go to our online learning site, http://victimrightslaw.efrontlearning.com/ and create a fee account. The course is available for OVW grantees, sub-grantees, and their grant partners. (Priority to LAV grantees and partners.)
