I just got word that tonight’s edition of “America Tonight” on Al Jazeera America is scheduled to include a segment on campus sexual violence I was interviewed for last month. The show runs from 9 to 10 PM Eastern, and I’ve been informed that the segment should be on during the first half hour. The primary focus of this segment is the UNC case, which has open federal Title IX & Clery Act investigations. I have found America Tonight’s reporting to be in-depth and very informative, including a powerful interview with VTV Board member Jen Herbstritt that was broadcast last month, so I hope you will be able to tune in tonight. You can find out if Al Jazeera America is available on your service provider by entering your ZIP Code on their website http://america.aljazeera.com. If you aren’t able to watch, many of their major segments are posted online at http://america.aljazeera.com/watch/shows/america-tonight.html so hopefully you’ll be able to see it in the next few days. Also, if you are in the Washington, DC area “America Tonight” is hosting a national “Town Hall” meeting on this issue during an extended edition of their program on Friday, November 1st from 9-10:30 PM. Details and an option to register for the event are available at http://bit.ly/amttownhall. S. Daniel Carter Director of 32 National Campus Safety Initiative VTV Family Outreach Foundation P.O.
