Hello friendly listmates,

I have been hired to provide victim centered advocacy services to students who have experienced acts of interpersonal violence as well as conduct prevention education.  The program is in the infancy stage.  I looking to develop a client intake structure and am seeking a better database than what I am currently using.
For those of you who work with victims, how do you go about getting referrals and conducting your intake?  What database(s) do you use to track your client contact/records?   What are the pros and cons of that database?  Who has access to the database or how is access controlled/limited?  I was also wondering if and how you share information with the counseling center/health services, other student affairs offices and Title IX Coordinator?

Thank you so much for your help.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Jessica Krohn, LMSW
