Dear Colleague,

The Stalking Resource Center is pleased to announce two upcoming training opportunities.

Stalking on Campus Webinar

In recognition of September as National Campus Safety Awareness Month, we are pleased to offer a FREE webinar on Stalking on Campus, to be held September 25, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM EDT.

Research has repeatedly found that the rate of stalking on college and university campuses is higher than in the general population. In this webinar, we will look at the prevalence and dynamics of stalking on campus. Discussion will include how technology is used by stalkers and addressing the social normalization of stalking. Recommendation for enhancing campus responses to stalking will also be provided.

Space is limited. Please click here to register.

Civil Justice for Victims of Crime in Maryland

The National Center for Victims of Crime, in conjunction with the Maryland Crime Victim Services, Maryland Crime Victim Resource Center, National Crime Prevention Council, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, will be offering two free training seminars for criminal justice practitioners, victim advocates, SANE Nurses, mental health therapists, and other allied professionals.

The seminars run from 9:00 am to 4:30 p.m. It will be held at Public Welfare Foundation 1200 U Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20009-4443 on October 9th and at the James N.
