The feminist comment was just a canard. Her criticisms (almost) universally apply to all campus processes, for all kinds of violations, not just Title IX.

Thank you for the kind words. I actually think that a *good* judicial board is really valuable as an option for victims, but unfortunately most aren't that good. When I used to work in judicial affairs I created a victim-centered training (e.g. one that
asks "what was reasonable for him to think" asked "what was reasonable for her to think") and I still scrambled to keep the "boys will be boys" board members off the panel.
I think the part that really got me was the "feminist" part being used to somehow make it seem like "even as a feminist I think the system is unfair" without having to actually use any feminist theory to demonstrate how her article in any way supports
her claim.
