The online video for the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence
Research Seminar Typologies of intimate partner abuse: Theory and practice,
is now available online.
This seminar features guest speakers; Emeritus Professor Michael Johnson, Dr.
Shamita Das Dasgupta, Dr. Jane Wangmann and Dr. Rae Kaspiew, who explore the
theory and practice of typologies of intimate partner violence, including a
critique and reflections on practice in the Australian context.

The Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research at Central
Queensland University
This is an excellent resource and especially important given the misuse of
typologies in family court and other areas of domestic violence practice and
