RespectCon 2013 Call for Proposals and Registration

 

The Respect Program in the Office of Health Promotion at Emory University is seeking presentations and panel ideas for a conference focusing particularly on issues related to sexual violence prevention on college campuses to be held on Friday, April 12, 2013--RespectCon 2013. 

Presentations that particularly focus on primary prevention or on college campus settings will be given particularly consideration as will proposals that are most consistent with the Respect Program's values of Respect, Survivor Empowerment, Student Engagement, Social Justice & Inclusion, Advocacy, Collaboration, and Excellence.

Presenters should be available to travel to Emory University on Fri. 4/12/13. If you are interested in being a part of a roundtable or panel instead, you are welcome to do so. Please fill out the form with your ideas and we will work with you to coordinate an appropriate session and format.  All are welcome to submit proposals. This conference is appropriate for students, faculty, staff, and any professionals working with students related to issues of sexual and relationship violence.

The Call for Proposals will close on January 31, 2013. Those selected to present will be notified by February 12, 2013. Conference registration is also available:

 

Speakers: Free if affiliated with Emory, $10 if not
Emory students: $10 before 3/1, $20 after 3/1
Emory non-students: $30 before 3/1, $40 after 3/1
Other attendees: $40 before 3/1, $50 after 3/1
