Hello Everyone, I am pleased to be joining this listserv and look forward to being a part of the SAPC community. I am the new program director for the gender-based violence education and support services at the University of Denver. One area of focus as I get started here is going to be to re-establish the gender-based violence hotline. I am wondering if any of you would be willing to share any hotline training materials that have worked well on your campuses. I’m thankful that the local sexual assault coalition has a training manual that I can build off of, but the training program is not geared towards college campuses. Any resources, suggestions, or advice would be very appreciated. I’m also interested to learn any recruitment strategies for hotline volunteers that have worked well for you. Thank you in advance for any resources and suggestions you can share with me.
