Hi Rebecca,
Thank you for this. Yes, RPE grantees in NC have been funded for over 5 years now and they have all created logic models and facilitated community assessment processes.
It is exactly because of the lack of evidence in the field that we are looking to protective factors to understand more about what is working.
Thanks again for your response. Additionally, I'd be interested to know if Ohio DELTA has used R&P factor research to inform little "e" evaluation methodology.
Best,
Jen

Jen,As someone who works in the field of IPV/SV prevention, I would caution against prevalence data as a measure of prevention effectiveness. Especially since the field has limited evidence based practices to rely on and practice based evidence is emerging.Below is a link to ODVN's Empowerment Evaluation Toolkit that offers practitioner friendly ways to measure program effectiveness. The toolkit is comprehensive and begins with establishing the needs of the community (campus), resources available for bringing to bear on the issue, and goes through process and outcome evaluation as well as reporting findings.I think creating a logic model as a roadmap for your program that includes clear outcome statements that guide measurement of outcome indicators is the best way to measure program effectiveness. That is, writing ABCDE outcome statements, monitoring the progress out those outcomes over time through data collection and analysis, is the best way to measure program effectiveness in my humble opinion. Please feel free to give me a call if I can be of assistance to you.

Does anyone on this list use a campus climate survey as a proxy measure for SV/IPV prevention program effectiveness?
If so, can you share what survey you use?
Thanks!
