Clara,
We had a lengthy discussion of the difficulties involved in gathering this data about a year ago or so.  The conversation is in the archive, I'm sure.  But suffice it to say that none of us came up with a good way to do this, even though we all are interested in figuring this out.  We all have anecdotes, have heard other unconfirmed stories, but actually getting stats that have any meaning would be incredibly tough.  It's a potential topic for a dissertation, though, if anyone had the wherewithal to do this.

Sir Moses Haim Montefiore (1784-1885), a British Jewish banker and philanthropist, determined defender of human rights and sheriff of London , was once seated at dinner next to an important personality and an anti-Semite, who told him he had just returned from Japan where they "have neither pigs nor Jews."    Montefiore replied instantly: "Accordingly, you and I should go there so they can have a sample of each."

Subject: student retention

hello everyone,

I am wondering if any of you all have any data on percentages of students who leave universities following a sexual assault with or without supportive services.  We are looking at ways to quantify the impact of our response / support protocol.

I'd also love to hear from any of you who utilize students as advocates or case managers on your campuses.

Thank you!

- Clara
