The Green Dot Violence Prevention Strategy is a new way of thinking about and doing prevention.  Green Dot is about culture change - harnessing the power of individual choices to shift our current norms.  It was designed by integrating some of the best research on social change, diffusion of innovation, communication/marketing, bystander intervention and perpetration patterns into a comprehensive program.  To learn more about our curriculum see: http://www.livethegreendot.com/train_curriculum.html

The Green Dot Institute will certify participants to implement the Green Dot Violence Prevention Strategy in their communities.  The training will include a comprehensive review of the philosophy, research-base, overarching violence prevention strategy, curriculum, and implementation plan.  Participants should expect a thought provoking and highly interactive training that will leave them with renewed hope and a vision to make our world safer.  For more information about our training see: http://www.livethegreendot.com/js_video.htm

Here is the agenda for the Institute:GDI agenda rev.pdf (300.00 KB)

Please note, this training is designed for professional staff and is not appropriate for students.  The certification is for our High School, College, and Community based curricula.  If you have any questions please contact Jen Sayre at .
