Dear Colleagues,

Caleb Peng, a student working in Emory University’s Respect Program in the Office of Health Promotion (that I manage) created a video that launched on August 28, 2012 called “I am tired of the silence.” This video is being used for education all over the country and has been picked up by college campuses, non-profits, Feministing and other progressive blogs, and even the White House. It has received over 11,000 views to date and has generated a lot of dialogue.

Caleb launched a new video last night.  I hope that you will share this with everyone you know. This video, “You’re Not Just a Victim, but a Survivor” is about survivor support.  We are hoping to share this video with even more people.  Thank you for your support. Please contact us to let us know what you think, if you’re interested in being a part of this movement that is expanding beyond just Emory University, and if you are using Project Unspoken videos in your work.

Thank you very  much for all of your support of this project. It is truly students who will change the culture to end sexual violence.

My best,

LB
