 Dear Colleagues:

I'm giving serious consideration to moving SAPC to Google or Yahoo so that it will be easier to subscribe (although it will remain moderated).  This way we can also keep certain documents, such as the roster (which I keep fairly up to date), general surveys of salaries, job descriptions, etc can be easily retrieved, as well as archives, which I find to be pretty unfriendly myself through the sympa system that UVA has.  Quick poll: do you have any preference as to which site to move it?  The Women's Studies list is on Posterous, but that doesn't seem very user-friendly to me.  Perhaps someone has another suggestion.

Also, would one of you be willing to be a co-moderator? I have a lot on my plate this year. It's pretty easy to manage this list, as members are nearly always very responsible, but we do get some interesting requests from time to time (use your imaginations).  And it would be helpful to have a collaborator to weigh in when controversial issues arise.  This person could also help with migrating the list over.
