Hello Colleagues,

 

Just wanted to send a quick note regarding a great Title IX program we just hosted at Old Dominion University.  The program, Sexual Violence and Civil Rights on Campus: Where Does Title IX Fit In?, was funded through the Office of Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center.  We hosted 2 sessions for ODU administrators and faculty, 1 session for student leaders, and 1 evening program open to all students, faculty and staff.  Our speaker for all four sessions was Wendy Murphy.  She did a phenomenal job of laying out Title IX requirements as a civil rights matter.  I highly recommend her if your campus is looking for accurate and no nonsense training on sexual violence and Title IX.
