Ending Sexual Violence

Wendy J. Murphy, J.D.

Is an impact litigator and adjunct professor of sexual violence at New England Law/Boston where she founded and directs the Sexual Violence Legal News and Judicial Language projects in conjunction with the school's Center for Law and Social Responsibility. She lectures widely and provides consultation on constitutional law, legal policy, and litigation strategy regarding victim’s, children’s and women’s rights. She has served as faculty at the Poynter Institute providing programming on language and the media’s reporting on sexual violence. She is the founder/director of the Victim Advocacy & Research Group (a volunteer organization providing legal services to crime victims), served on Massachusetts Governor’s Crime Commission, consulted with Congress and worked with the White House Women’s office. Her first solo book is titled And Justice for Some (Penguin/Sentinel, 2007). She appears regularly on CNN, Fox News, NBC and CBS as a legal analyst.
