Prostitution and Sexual Trafficking Videos At the risk of sounding self-promoting, I’ll offer that it’s an engaging site and worth a visit, if you’ve never been there – educational in itself! CQ is a
project launched jointly by the Victim Rights Law Center and the Voices and Faces Project.
If you’re looking to educate fact finders, I like the visually outdated but still very powerful film by Dr. Ann Salter – Truth, Lies and Sex Offenders. Also,
the Oregon AG’s SA Task Force has a video called “Oregon Voices” that’s survivors from a variety of backgrounds talking about their sexual assault and the criminal justice system’s response. It focuses on the survivors’ experiences with the crim justice system,
and it’s poor quality footage, but the content is very good. There are a series of videotaped interviews with the survivors of campus sexual assault who participated in the series that NPR did in collaboration with the
Center for Public Integrity. I found those useful for educating my law students about campus SA. Lastly, if you’re looking for a training DVD regarding SA in the military, there is the new film Invisible War. It’s incredibly well done; devastatingly powerful.
Tells the stories of a group of (mostly but not entirely female) SA survivors of military sexual assault and trauma. - Jessie From: Adriane Bang [mailto:]
Hi Pauline, How are you looking to use the videos? If you are interested in resources for staff training I would recommend the following movies/clips which are well done and available at no cost: 1. "Telling Amy's Story" (http://telling.psu.edu/) offered by Pennsylvania State University at no cost to stream online, can also be ordered for a free 2. "The Use of Technology to Stalk" (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/stalkingandtechnology) Offered by the Stalking Resource Center 3. "How to Recognize, Respond to, and Provide Resources to End Domestic Violence." (http://www.ncdsv.org/ncd_corporate_avon.html) Offered by The National Center
