If You Don't Think Campus Harassment Happens: Think Again.

It's the second week of our Hollaback! Against Campus Harassment Campaign and already we've recieved an outpouring of support and raised $3,310. But with only 24 days to go, we need your to help us slide into home plate. Donate here.
Since this movement began in 2005, we have received countless stories of campus harassment. Stories like Alice's, an LGBTQ 22 year-old who experienced something that no one should have to experience at college:
"The year began with one student commenting constantly that "he is a man and I am a woman; so he could 'have me'.
I quickly explained my sexuality to him and thought that was that. A few months went by and he started harassing me shockingly, yelling 'You are a sin against god" across the science lab at me while the teacher was in the room.
She somehow seemed to miss these comments.
The scary truth is that this happens more often than we would like to admit. Among the LGBTQ community, CNN reports that 33% of LGBTQ students, faculty and staff have seriously considered leaving their institution due to harassment.
No one should have to experience this. Help us bring Hollaback! to ten college campuses this year, donate today so that other young women don't have to experience what Alice has.
