Job Summary: The Assistant
Director is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing
campus-wide health education programs. In addition, this individual serves as
the campus Victim Advocate and sexual violence prevention expert. Among other
responsibilities, key functions of this position include: § Design and delivery of training and
educational programs § Management of ongoing health education
projects § Co-supervision of the Peer Health
Education program § Management of the Center for Sex and
Gender Relations § Develop collaborative programs and working
relationships with numerous on- and off-campus constituencies § Serve as administrative advisor to several
student organizations § Attend and/or present at professional
workshops, conferences, and training sessions to improve professional skills
and knowledge in the area of health and wellness including sexual assault and
violence § Stay current in issues related to
collegiate health and wellness § Act as a liaison with on- and off-campus
resources such as community service agencies, community coalitions and
consortiums, and other relevant programs Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Health Education,
Community Health, Public Health, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications: College health experience, victim
advocacy/support training or experience, CHES preferred but not required. Pay Range: $47,800 - $55,000 for this 11 month position, commensurate with
