A colleague of mine asked if I knew anything about this group.  Has anyone on this list had any experience with Theater Delta?   If so, I’d love to hear what you thought of them.

Many thanks.

Hello,

My name is Ben Saypol, and I am writing to let you know about Theater Delta, an excellent resource for programming for your students. Theater Delta uses Interactive Theater to promote health, social justice, and academics on campuses nationwide. Our various performances focus on the same issues that you deal with in housing and residential life, including drugs and alcohol, sexual assault, depression and suicide ideation, eating disorders, stress, as well as myriad social justice issues (sexism, classism, homophobia, etc).

To give you a quick idea of what a performance is like, Theater Delta presents highly realistic scenes depicting the issues as they occur on campus, then allows the audience to interact with the characters and action on stage, and finally facilitates a constructive conversation where audience members break down the issues and offer -- and sometimes enact -- solutions to the problems.

For more information and a short video, please go to http://www.theaterdelta.com and/or contact me at your convenience. My email and phone are below. We also can send you evaluation data and references upon request.

Best and thanks,

Ben
