Hi everyone, The message below is from my colleague at Boston University who is doing some great research in prevention programs. If you belong to a school on the list below (Brown, Columbia, Emory, Fordham, George
Washington, Johns Hopkins, New York University, Northwestern University, Syracuse, Miami, University of Pennsylvania, University of Rochester, University of Southern California, Boston College, Northeastern, Tufts),
your help would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading, Kelley Kelley M. Adams, MPH Program Manager, Violence Prevention and Response Grant Coordinator & Victim Advocate Community Wellness, MIT Medical E23-205, 617-253-1318 VPR 24-HOUR HOTLINE 617-253-2300 *************************************************** Dear SAPC members,
Hello from Boston University! We are writing to you because Boston University is assessing sexual assault on campus and prevention options. The leadership
of the University has come up with a list of 20 schools that are considered our “peer” institutions. We are trying to compile a table that lists each school and its current sexual assault prevention activities. If you are a member at one of the schools listed
below, would you please provide 3-4 sentences about your own SA prevention activities, including whether you have a staffed office and your operating budget if you can share that information, and send that to Emily Rothman at
and by April 6th? We would be VERY grateful for your help. Our goal is to determine what—if anything—Boston University could or should be doing to prevent sexual assault on campus, and are looking to our peers for some ideas.
Thanks and best. Brown Columbia Emory Fordham George Washington Johns Hopkins New York University Northwestern University Syracuse Miami University of Pennsylvania University of Rochester University of Southern California Boston College Northeastern Tufts |
