We have an application process followed by an interview. Staff and a grad
student oversee the line. We feel it is crucial to have this process to
ensure students are emotionally prepared for the role and we also screen on
their openness for various social justice issues that could come up on the
line I.e. Glbt communities, plan b referrals, etc.
Happy to send any materials you may be interested in (application, interview
guide, etc).
How many hours is your training for the responders? Who does it?
Peace
