Hi colleagues, I am sending this survey out at the request of my great colleagues at Margolis Healy, who are working with DOJ-BJA on a campus crime prevention project. Please feel free to take it and share your thoughts with them, and details for the survey and any questions which you can direct to MH are below. Thanks, Joe General Info Margolis Healy & Associates (MHA), in collaboration with the United States Department of Justice Bureau for Justice Assistance (BJA), is conducting a significant research project entitled “Best Practices for Campus Crime Prevention: Developing Evidence-Based Modern Crime Prevention Strategies for Institutions of Higher Education.” You are invited to participate in a survey that is designed to capture data associated with evidenced-based crime prevention program characteristics, implementation, evaluation, and population relevancy. We are interested in hearing from professionals in the following positions: sworn campus public safety official, non-sworn campus public safety official, victim services advocate, prevention specialist, substance abuse specialist, counselor, student affairs professional, college/university administrator (not in student affairs), faculty member, system-wide (multiple campuses) leaders/coordinators and community service volunteer. The data gathered from this survey remains strictly confidential. The information derived from this study will be used to gain a better understanding of evidence based programming and delivery strategies which will be shared publicly by the BJA and MHA.
