Hello all,

As I do every year, I went in front of our Student Fee Review Board to request money to support our work. Resources are always tight, as they are everywhere, so I asked for a modest increase ($6000). To my wonderful surprise, the Chair of the panel turned our discussion to violence against women on campus. After I answered her questions she asked me if they gave me more money  could we have a positive impact. I answered, well, um, yes!, if it is a full-time permanent staff position. She then asked me for a job description/pay range. Which is why I am writing to all of you wonderful colleagues. 

I have seen many positions posted in the last few years, associated with the VAWA grant. I need some examples of the violence prevention coordinator position as soon as possible, with pay range info. If you have a couple of minutes and can email me what you've been using, I would appreciate it greatly!
