Coordinator of Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy
Brown University Health Services is seeking a Coordinator of Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy to work in Health Education. This is a permanent 11-month position (one month off in the summer).
The Coordinator of Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy conducts education and outreach programs, provides support to students and advocates for improved systems and responses related to the issues of sexual violence and relationship violence,
Job requirements are:
- MSW, MPH, an equivalent degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Demonstrated ability to provide support to victims of sexual violence, understanding of sexual violence in the context of relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to conduct educational programs and training workshops
- Familiarity with best practices related to policy development and victim advocacy preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Available to work some nights and/or weekends
