Hi All, We had Jewel Woods as our keynote speaker for WHM. He spoke on Feminism and Masculinity: How to Be a Black Male Feminist. I would strongly recommend him as a speaker on a number of issues. He does
a lot of work with human trafficking and domestic violence. He’s very relational, great interactions with students, very passionate about the work. He challenges a lot of our preconceptions about feminism. He wrote The Black Male Privilege Checklist which
you can find on his website. I talked with a number of men afterwards and they thought his message long overdue. Very straightforward guy. I think we’re all left with so much to process and that’s what we like. Soapbox Speakers is his booking agent. His website is
