Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what 
their 
institutional admissions offices are doing (if anything) with regard to 
completing 
background checks on admitted students who could potentially be 
registered sex offenders (RSO)?  It is my understanding that perspective
 students are often asked on their application whether or not they've 
been convicted of a felony or had judicial history with any prior 
education institutions but that this is a good faith answer.  Is anyone 
more specific with their questioning or do any follow-up?  Or even have a
 policy around RSO's and admission to the institution?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
