Hi folks,
I'm looking for a good, low-cost/sliding scale therapist for a young adult
woman who is a survivor of severe childhood sexual abuse, was raped while in
a psych ward last summer, and is suffering from all the expected somatic
issues that result from this history.  She's is having terrible flashbacks
from the August assault.  She lives about 1 hours outside Detroit, is jobless
at the moment, and desperately needs some mental health support. She told me
that she could get some transportation into the city if necessary. Any
suggestions?  We've become good FB friends and I know that this amazingly
strong woman just needs some help to get through her next stage of healing.
Thanks,
Claire Kaplan
