Colleagues,

After several years of input and revisions, I am pleased to announce today’s release of three new books.  The Men’s and Women’s Programs: Ending Rape Through Peer Education, The Women’s Program: Peer Educator’s Manual, and The Men’s Program, Peer Educators Manual.

These books are designed for people who work with college students, the military, high schools, rape crisis centers, and faith based organizations who seek a step-by-step guide for building a sexual assault peer education program from start to finish.  Scripts for one hour workshops are provided for both male and female peer educators to learn so they can present them to their peers, as well as scripts for over 20 hours of basic and advanced training exercises to train your trainers.  These exercises can also double as stand-alone programs you or others can present, covering topics such as alcohol and sexual assault, basic and advanced training on bystander intervention, basic and advanced training about consent, rape trauma syndrome, and the connection between pornography and men’s violence against women.

Also included is a step by step guide for recruiting and selecting peer educators, practical advice written by former peer educators, resources for group advisors, and a detailed summary of research on each program’s effects.

I hope that these new resources will contribute something of value to the field.  If you are interested, more information can be found at this website:  http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B003NCDDYM
