Recently, Progressive Insurance launched a new national TV commercial  
featuring a carousel of insured items (cars, motorcycles, etc...)   
where their main character, Flo, refers to riding the Pink Pony.  Upon  
our contacting them to inform them of this pornographic sexual  
reference, they responded quickly and in a very positive action. We  
give them KUDOs for taking decisive, positive steps to correct the  
situation.  The MORE we can all show their effort to make a correction  
is noticed, the more likely companies are to see the rewards of  
holding high corporate standards. Please contact them letting them  
know how much you appreciate their willingness to stop the commercial  
from running while they determine their next steps.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Your assumption that this was an  
unintentional oversight is correct—we would never intentionally  
develop a commercial with inappropriate language. In fact, we tested  
the content of this ad with hundreds of viewers and didn’t receive  
such feedback. We are pulling the ad while we determine our next steps.
