Hi all,
Historically we have included an 8 page brochure on sexual assault - info,
campus resources, myths... in new student packets at orientation. We have
been talking recently about the likelihood that these brochures may only
rarely get looked at it and most often end up in a recycling bin. We are
considering instead this year to give out a promotional item (magnet, chip
clip, whistle) with a logo and the website address holding the info included
in the brochure. Our hope is that students will use these items throughout
the year and be aware of where they can get further info. I'm wondering what
other schools are doing. If using give-aways, what types of items (less than
$1 each) are working out well in terms of helping to spread info/resources
related to sexual assault.
Thanks for any thoughts.
Cathy Sullivan
