I agree--Voices of Courage has amazing stories that help students think
about sexual assault from a survivor's point of view.  The "Ben" story

the story and assume it's written by a woman until several pages

In 2002, a UW-Madison student put together a booklet of 8 student

Juliette,

The best book I know of for survivor empowerment is Voices of Courage,
edited by Mike Domitrz.  If you haven't read it, it includes about a
dozen different stories from survivors - women and men of different
races and backgrounds.  The common theme of survivorship weaves through
each chapter.  I learned more about what it means to be a survivor from
that book than from anything I've ever read.  I have given it to
survivors whom I know and they have found it to be very helpful.  I also
use it when I train peer educators, and they gain a great deal from it.
Friends and partners of survivors would get a great deal from it as
well.

John
