Good afternoon SAPCs,
I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience facilitating a support group for survivors? In the past, my predecessor lead student survivors in a series of meetings which involved journaling, drawing, and other forms of creative expression. Some student volunteers and survivors have recently asked if we could reinstate these.
I believe this is a valuable service we could be providing. My only dilemma is that do not have experience in leading support groups, and was left with no instructions. If anyone out there has any advice (even if only a tip or two), I would greatly appreciate an e-mail.
Thanks so much in advance,
Chris Morrin
