Does anyone have access to data about combined family violence/sexual assault
community agencies compared with separate agencies for family violence and
for sexual assault? It seems to be a trend in recent years to combine them,
but it would be good to have numbers on how common/uncommon that is. thanks.

Subject: SAPC mailing list submission
Hello All,
I currently facilitate our Family Violence/Sexual Assault Council in our
local community. Recently our council had a discussion about social
networking site restrictions being included into harassment restraining
orders and orders for protection. We discussed developing a handout for
advocates to use with victims that would give suggestions of specific
language to consider when assisting victims in writing protective orders.
This language would be generated to address offenders use of social
networking sites such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. as a way to
monitor, control and stalk victims.
My question is, has anyone else developed or had experience writing
technology or social networking contact concerns into protective orders? If
so can you send me any language that may be helpful for our council to adopt
in a handout?
If not, I am wondering if anyone would be interested in working with me
directly to help develop a handout such as this via email.
Please contact me directly if you have any thoughts.
Thank you,
Sheila J. Johnson, LSW
