Hi everyone,
Great to meet many of you at the Safe Society Zone conference this past
weekend! I received the following request from a student. She will be turning
in her paper for a journalism class and also submitting it to a magazine for
publication. I am definitely not an expert in this area, so I wanted to see
if anyone else on this list would be interested. I can put you in direct
touch with her if so. Thank you!
Lauren
Thanks so much for getting back to me. My article is due in a week, so if you
or someone you know could speak with me, I would greatly appreciate it.
I would be asking questions about how college campuses should respond to
drug-facilitated sexual assault (DFSA), whether or not they are responding in
the appropriate manner, whether or not awareness of this type of crime is as
high as it should be, how common DFSA is, complications involved with the
crime, why research on DFSA was prevalent in the late 90s and early 2000s but
is not common today, etc. I would also like to hear about how the NSVRC deals
responds to DFSA.
I would appreciate any type of knowledge that could be shared on the subject.
A phone interview would be preferable, but if that cannot occur within the
next week, I could type up my questions and send them to you.
Thanks so much for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you,
- Kelly Cochran
