Call for Abstracts and Presentations

* Conference Description

The CALCASA Winter TTI 2010 seeks to include a wide range of innovative work
across the United States and territories relating to reducing
domestic/dating violence, sexual assault and stalking/cyber stalking through
practice, research and policy, and  judicial/campus law enforcement
procedures at colleges/universities.  The institute will have an emphasis on
law enforcement training. As demographics continue to change across
college/university campuses, it is critical to not only provide culturally
relevant services, but to also build culturally relevant capacity amongst
campus grantees.

We are interested in work that explore, analyze and elaborate upon
historically and culturally specific intersections of identities as they
relate to traditionally underserved communities at post-secondary
institutions working to end campus violence. These communities include
people of color, tribal, people with disabilities,
lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/intersex/queer (LGBTIQ), and immigrants.
Workshops must be applicable to attending grantee demographics (i.e. urban,
rural).
