Hello!

 

The Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force of Oregon is seeking
qualified candidates for the

position of Sexual Violence Prevention Program Coordinator. The Task Force
is a unique, nongovernmental,

non-profit organization created in collaboration with former Attorney
General Hardy

Myers to facilitate and support a collaborative, victim-centered approach to
the prevention of and

response to adolescent and adult sexual violence. The Task Force provides
training and technical

assistance, and develops resources on behalf of professionals who respond to
sexual assault. The

Task Force prioritizes the selection of high quality professional staff with
expertise in sexual assault

and/or violence against women to accomplish its mission.

 

The Sexual Violence Prevention Program (SVPP) Coordinator provides technical

assistance and support to communities and organizations in Oregon interested
in engaging in the

primary prevention of sexual violence. Additionally, the SVPP Coordinator
administers the statewide

Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) grant and provides leadership on sexual
violence prevention

issues in Oregon.

 

Application deadline: June 26, 2009

Anticipated start date: August 2009

Location: Salem, Oregon

Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 annually (1.0 fte) or commensurate with
experience/skills
